Raw 3D design of thermoforming
From concept to completion, Alcochem Packaging’s team of engineers and manufacturing professionals will work with you. Thermoforming material selection
Thermoplastic material alternatives are available, from automotive parts toelectronic components, that meet even the most stringent criteria for strength, durability, impact resistance, FST, and weather resistance. Alcochem Packaging will collaborate with your team to find the right thermoplastic material for your project.
Fine design of thermoforming and delivery of prototype
The basis on which your part is built is the mold or tooling. To produce a consistently high-quality item, proper tooling Tesign and construction is critical. We will work with you to build accurate temperature-controlled aluminum tooling so that your components are consistently of the highest quality and exact tolerances.
Construction of series tooling
This is where your role begins to take shape. In one of the manufacturing cells, your mold is placed and calibrated in a thermoforming machine. To make your item, the thermoplastic you chose for your application is heated to forming temperature and vacuum or pressure formed over the mold.
Testing, validation, and delivery of first-out-of-tool packaging
The trays are tested at an authorized test institute to according to international transport standards. Together with your production and logistics team we approve the packaging. A minimal production, the 0-series, will test run to prove their efficacy within your supply chain.
Series deliveries:
After a successful implementation of the 0 series, we start supplying the finished packaging according to your delivery schedule.
